Last updated: [DATE]
Network She Magazine uses photography and other visual content to help tell the stories of the people, businesses and community behind Network She.
This policy explains how photographs, headshots, logos, graphics and other images may be supplied, used and published in connection with Network She Magazine.
1. IMAGES YOU SUPPLY TO NETWORK SHE
You may be asked to provide headshots, photographs of yourself or your team, business or workplace photographs, event photographs, product images, logos, graphics, campaign images or other images relevant to your involvement.
Please supply the best quality original version available wherever possible.
2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUPPLIED IMAGES
When you supply an image to Network She, you must own the image and have the right to use it, or have permission from the person or organisation that owns it to provide it for the intended use.
This includes photographs taken by professional photographers. If an image requires a photographer credit, copyright notice or other attribution, please provide this information when you submit it.
3. PEOPLE APPEARING IN PHOTOGRAPHS
If you supply an image containing identifiable people, you are responsible for making sure you have appropriate permission to provide the photograph for publication and promotional use.
If there is any uncertainty about whether an image can be used, tell the Network She team when submitting it.
4. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Any photographs of children or young people submitted for publication in the magazine must be accompanied by appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian, where required. The person submitting the photograph is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary permissions for its publication, including the use of the image in print and digital editions and associated promotional materials. The magazine reserves the right to refuse or remove any image where consent or permission cannot be confirmed.
5. IMAGE QUALITY
Images supplied for publication should be of suitable quality for the intended use. Where possible, provide original or high-resolution files, clear sharp photographs, images without screenshots/social-media overlays or unnecessary text, and images that have not been excessively compressed.
Network She may ask for a replacement image if the supplied version is not suitable. Supplying an image does not guarantee that it will be used.
6. EDITING AND FORMATTING IMAGES
Network She may make reasonable changes to images to suit the magazine design and publication format, including cropping, resizing, repositioning, adjustments required for layout and use within designed graphics or promotional assets.
Network She will not intentionally alter an image in a way that materially misrepresents the person, business, product or activity shown.
7. USE WITHIN NETWORK SHE MAGAZINE

Permission to use an image for magazine promotion does not automatically give Network She unrestricted permission to use that image for unrelated commercial purposes.
9. CUSTOM CONTRIBUTOR GRAPHICS
Network She may use submitted photographs or headshots to create custom promotional graphics for contributors. These may be included in the Network She Magazine Connection Pack so contributors can promote their involvement.
Network She branding and designed assets should not be materially altered in a way that misrepresents Network She, the magazine or the contributor's relationship with Network She.
