NETWORK SHE MAGAZINE CONTRIBUTOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 26th October 2026
These terms apply when you submit editorial content for consideration for Network She Magazine. By submitting content and agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you understand and accept the following.
1. SUBMITTING CONTENT
Network She Magazine welcomes contributions from members of the Network She community and other invited or eligible contributors.
Submissions may include articles and features, business or community news, personal or business wins, opportunities, freebies or member gifts, images and photographs, links and calls to action, and other content agreed with the Network She team.
Submitting content does not guarantee that it will be included in Network She Magazine.
Network She retains editorial discretion over what is included in each edition and may select content based on available space, relevance, quality, the theme or balance of the edition and the needs of the publication.
2. DEADLINES
Submission deadlines will be provided for each edition. Please submit your content and accompanying materials by the stated deadline. Content received after the deadline may not be considered for that edition. Network She may, at its discretion, hold suitable late or unused content for consideration in a future edition.
If we need additional information, replacement images or clarification from you, we may provide a further deadline for supplying it. Failure to provide requested information by that deadline may mean your contribution cannot be included.
3. EDITORIAL CHANGES
Network She may make reasonable edits to submitted content for spelling and grammar, clarity and readability, length, formatting, house style, layout and presentation.
We will aim to preserve the original meaning and intention of your contribution. Network She will not normally seek approval for minor editorial changes. Network She retains final editorial control.
Where significant changes to the meaning or substance of a contribution are required, Network She may contact the contributor before publication.
4. ACCURACY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CONTENT
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You should not knowingly submit content that is false or misleading, defamatory, unlawful, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, contains material you do not have permission to share, or makes claims you cannot reasonably support.
Where your contribution contains professional, financial, health, legal or other specialist information, you remain responsible for the claims and information you provide. Publication by Network She does not transfer responsibility for those claims to Network She.
5. ORIGINAL CONTENT AND THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL
You confirm that you own the content you submit or have the necessary permission to provide and publish it. This includes written copy, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos and any other material supplied.
If another person owns any part of the material, it is your responsibility to obtain their permission before submitting it. Where appropriate, please provide any required credit or attribution information.
6. PHOTOGRAPHS AND IMAGES
You must have the appropriate rights and permissions for photographs and images you submit. Where an identifiable person appears in an image, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permission to provide that image for the intended use.
Additional requirements relating to images and photography are set out in the Network She Magazine Photography & Image Policy.
Any photographs of children or young people submitted for publication in the magazine must be accompanied by appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian, where required. The person submitting the photograph is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary permissions for its publication, including the use of the image in print and digital editions and associated promotional materials. The magazine reserves the right to refuse or remove any image where consent or permission cannot be confirmed.
7. PERMISSION TO PUBLISH
By submitting content for publication and providing the relevant permission, you allow Network She to publish accepted material in Network She Magazine. This may include digital and/or printed versions of the magazine.
Digital editions may remain publicly available after the original publication date, including through the Network She Magazine archive or digital bookshelf.
You retain ownership of your original content. You give Network She the permission required to reproduce, format and publish that content as part of the magazine.
8. PROMOTING THE MAGAZINE AND YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Network She may use reasonable extracts, quotes, headlines, contributor names, business names and supplied images from accepted contributions to promote the edition, Network She Magazine and your contribution through email, social media, websites, promotional graphics and other Network She communication channels.
You retain ownership of your original content and images.
9. CONNECTION PACKS
Accepted contributors may receive access to a Network She Magazine Connection Pack containing magazine promotional graphics, contributor graphics, suggested social media copy, suggested email copy, magazine links and other promotional assets.
These materials are provided to help contributors share their involvement in the magazine and support the wider edition. Please do not materially alter Network She branded assets in a way that misrepresents Network She, the magazine or your relationship with Network She.
10. LINKS, OFFERS AND FREEBIES
Where you provide a website, booking link, offer, freebie, member gift or other call to action, you are responsible for ensuring that the information and link are correct and that you are able to fulfil anything you are offering.
Network She is not responsible for the availability, operation or fulfilment of third-party websites, products, services, offers, gifts or downloads promoted by contributors. Offers/freebies submitted for an edition must remain available for a minimum period OF 3 months after publication.
11. COMMERCIAL AND PROMOTIONAL CONTENT
Free editorial contributions should provide appropriate value to the reader and should not simply operate as advertisements. Network She may edit, decline or ask for changes to content that is considered excessively promotional.
Businesses wishing to purchase dedicated promotional space can use Network She Magazine's advertising or sponsorship opportunities.
12. PUBLICATION SCHEDULE AND CHANGES
Network She intends to publish according to its planned publication schedule but publication dates may occasionally change.
Network She may change the format, structure, page count or distribution method of an edition where reasonably necessary.
Acceptance of a contribution does not guarantee a particular page, position, layout or prominence within the magazine. Network She may move an accepted contribution to a later edition where necessary.
13. WITHDRAWING A SUBMISSION
If you wish to withdraw your contribution, please contact Network She as soon as possible.
A contributor may withdraw content before the edition enters final production. Once the edition has been finalised, distributed or published, Network She cannot guarantee that the content can be removed from that edition or from copies already distributed.
Removal from a digital archive after publication may be considered where there is an appropriate reason, but cannot guarantee removal of copies that have already been downloaded, printed, shared or distributed.
14. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
Network She Magazine provides contributors with an opportunity to share their ideas, stories, businesses and expertise with the Network She community. Network She does not guarantee any particular level of readership, website traffic, enquiries, sales, followers, connections or other commercial result from appearing in the magazine.
15. RELATIONSHIP WITH NETWORK SHE
Being published in Network She Magazine does not create an employment, partnership, agency or formal endorsement relationship between the contributor and Network She. Views expressed by individual contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Network She.
16. DATA AND PRIVACY
Personal information collected as part of the submission and publication process will be handled in accordance with the Network She Magazine Privacy Policy. Information intentionally supplied for publication may become publicly available as part of the magazine and its promotion.
17. REMOVING OR REFUSING CONTENT
Network She reserves the right not to publish, or where reasonably necessary to remove from a digital publication, material that it believes may breach these terms, infringe another person's rights, create a legal or regulatory risk, contain materially inaccurate or misleading information, or be inappropriate for the Network She Magazine audience or publication.
Where practical and appropriate, Network She will contact the contributor about significant concerns.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Network She may update these Contributor Terms & Conditions as the magazine and its processes develop. The terms applying to a submission will be those presented or linked as part of the relevant submission process.
